Burridge Center for Finance Treks
Burridge Center Finance Treks
Treks add experiential learning to enhance what students learn in the classroom.
We visit financial centers across the nation and internationally to witness first-hand, the wide variety of opportunities available in the finance industry. Reach out to Matthew.Fleming@colorado.edu for information on upcoming treks within the US, and Sheila.Duffy@colorado.edu for our international opportunities.
Finance Treks take place across the country as part of an effort to engage students with their alumni community, expose them to various aspects of the finance industry, and help them to assess possible career paths within finance.
Treks outside of Denver are normally 1-2 nights. The Burridge Center works logistics of travel for the students. You can expect a typical day to include 90 minute visits with several companies that offer to host students, share information about their role in the finance industry, provide networking and tour financial centers.
