Women in Business Programs
Providing exceptional women scholars with lifelong skills
The Leeds School of Business offers many opportunities for women to develop as exceptional leaders, scholars, and community advocates. At Leeds, our goal is gender parity - closing the gap in business education and ultimately in the C-suite. By offering a unique approach to creating an inclusive business environment for all students, Leeds students enter the workforce prepared to shape and influence the future of business in every discipline. Through interdisciplinary programs, comprehensive mentorship and leadership initiatives, and student-led organizations, Leeds provides women with the resources and community needed for success throughout their time at the Leeds School of Business and beyond.
This one-year program for incoming first-year students will engage students in leadership development both inside and outside of the classroom while examining issues of gender equity in the field of business.
BEWiT is a two-year interdisciplinary effort focused on inspiring accomplished and intellectually curious women to explore the technology industry.
Leeds also offers programs and student led organizations focused on building an inclusive business community. The Women in Business Club is available to all students, both undergraduate and graduate. Emphasis specific programs such as the Women in Finance Forum provides female finance students with the ability to engage with female executives from leading companies.
