The Leeds Business Confidence Index (LBCI) Q2 2022
Business confidence slipped ahead of Q2 2022, but still remained positive, with industry leaders citing the Russia/Ukraine conflict and inflation as the primary concerns looking ahead to the new quarter. All components of the index decreased ahead of the second quarter. The index decreased 4.1 points from Q1 2022 to Q2 2022, and fell another 0.6 points ahead of Q3 2022.
